Victoria Pellouchoud Fine Art

I am an artist.  It took a long time for me to be able to say that.  I am many things but this is the force that drives me.  Over many obstacles I fight to put my vision forth.  I paint in oils and watercolor and am interested in interpreting the natural world.  I am fed by being out there amid nature and observing, feeling my surroundings.  Color and story are prominent in my mind as I approach a piece, if that is not there I feel no connection and that is what I'm searching for.  I am drawn to the broken, imperfect, the unusual but conversely also the stunning color combinations nature serves us.  I am also grateful for images that come to me in my dreams or on my walks or just by watching the world around me.  Those are the magical ones, the visionary ones, and are the way I see the world the way I'm working it out while I'm here painting and working.  My hope for this website is that it will unfold how I see the world and inspire you to see something in a new way or to recognize something of yourself.
